Overview:

Columbia di Casa Caputi represents exactly the type of female I strive to build my breeding program around. As a daughter of Elyf Haus Segovia, my foundation female, she carries forward a maternal line that has consistently produced exceptional health, stable temperaments, correct structure, and remarkable versatility. After watching what Elyf has contributed to my program, retaining another daughter from this family was an easy decision.

Columbia combines the best qualities of both sides of her pedigree. Her fatherline, Darko von Blankanera, contributes outstanding breed type, substance, pigmentation, and athleticism, while Elyf brings the confidence, clear-headed temperament, and structural integrity that have become hallmarks of her offspring.

She is a feminine yet powerful female with beautiful expression, rich pigmentation, balanced angulation, and fluid movement. Beyond her physical qualities, Columbia possesses the stable, social temperament that is so important to me. She is confident without being pushy, environmentally sound, eager to engage with people, and demonstrates the kind of clear nerve that allows her to transition seamlessly between work, family life, and public settings.

My goal with Columbia is to preserve and strengthen the qualities that have made Elyf such an important part of my program while introducing the proven genetics and character of Darko's bloodline. I expect her puppies to exhibit strong social temperaments, excellent trainability, sound structure, and the versatility needed to excel as active family companions, performance dogs, or sport prospects.

Columbia represents the next generation of a family I know and trust—a female bred not only from outstanding bloodlines, but from generations of dogs selected for health, temperament, and adherence to the German Shepherd Dog breed standard.
