Spay & Neuter

When to spay / neuter your dog:

  1. Waiting until your puppy is 24 months (2 years) old: This suggests waiting until the puppy is fully matured before taking certain actions or making decisions. This could include things like breeding the puppy or engaging in strenuous physical activities that might be more appropriate for adult dogs.

  2. If waiting until 24 months is too long, wait until at least 12 months: This indicates a compromise option for individuals who may find waiting two years impractical or challenging. Waiting until 12 months still allows for significant growth and development before certain activities are undertaken.

  3. For your health guarantee, waiting until 18 months is required: This suggests that there are specific health-related concerns or guarantees tied to waiting until a certain age before engaging in certain activities or making commitments. This could be related to genetic health testing or other factors that might become more evident as the dog matures.
